A giant lived in a beautiful garden. Once he went abroad on a visit. The children of the locality used to play in the garden. They said to each other, “It’s a nice place and we’ll be playing here everyday.” But the Giant one day came back home and became angry when he saw the children playing there. He roared, “Who are you? Get out from my garden.” Thus, he drove them out of the garden. Hen then made a high wall all round the garden and put up a notice board mentioning that anybody entering the garden would be punished. The poor children then became very sad. Nature also became very sad at this and punished the selfish giant. As a result, no change of season took place. There was winter in this garden for a long time. The selfish giant became very surprised at this.
